Thoughts and Illusions

Poor teddy bear. And today I’m a year older.

Somehow I felt freaked out waking up this morning. Maybe its just that feeling of realising being not having done much in life after two decades of living. It may seem odd, however, I feel my birthday this year is special despite having to celebrate it about 10 days earlier just before school started again. Birthday was never a big thing for me, nothing more than receiving greetings and wishes and I know that it’s already enough for me. Not trying to brag about how nice I am but that’s just me, always expecting the least. And what has made it different this year is that it was as if rainbows had shine through the sky while butterflies dancing under the nature’s colours.

First of all, Happy Birthday to one close friend of mine, Kims. Wishing you with blessings from Allah and good luck with what you are doing, girl. Hehe I’d like to apologize though because I haven’t really been able to talk with you on MSN for the past few days and especially not being able to greet you earlier through the phone today. I meant to but somehow I got carried away with things here. Sorry about that. Hoping to see you soon during summer in July!

So far, the holiday has been great. The weather is awesome. I can feel the summer’s warm air coming pretty quickly. More sunshine, baby! I’ve been trying pretty hard to spend at a minimum during this holiday period although I’m not quite sure how do I do so far. The good thing is I’m getting better now, recovering from a flu that I got infected from the dudes in Newcastle last week. The bad news is the guys I share the transit room with here are getting ill. Oops. My bad, sorry guys. Yeah, I haven’t really been sleeping much lately. I’ve been watching lots of movies back-to-back late at night until the morning comes.

My birthday is coming but since the holiday is finished by then, I’ve already received my first advanced birthday present. It is a special one, most probably the best gift. But I’m not gonna spoil it now - not until my birthday =p So I’m just gonna keep my mouth shut for now hehe and yeah, as the title says, I’m gonna go off now.
