Of all the excitements of counting down the days until my scheduled flight home by the last week of June, one major thing I need to go through and be worried about is my final examinations! It’s happening in less than fortnight from now and after having quite a few breaks to ease off the tensions and refresh my senses, I’m sure it’s time for that final push.
I’ve had quite a bit of fun today, during my last few lessons ever in the school. I had to do some origami stuffs in FP Maths class. We made an F14 Tomcat jet fighter out of just a piece of paper! It is pretty cool actually and you can toss it off in the air and it will fly. It’s definitely a keeper. Some of us were playing poker at the back of the class. What would you expect when a group of mathematicians goes gambling? Well, go figure.
My last Chemistry lesson was even more exciting. We got to make goo right from its core ingredients. Well, we’ve actually done it before and it’s like the most fun thing to do in Chemistry. Mix this and that and add a flavour colouring and then stir. Although the goo we made last time was better because we managed to play around with our bare hands without getting a mess (well, we’ve got the whole double lesson to do it) and throw around the lab, trying to get it to stick on the ceiling just for some banter. I’ve made quite a mess playing with the goo today but it was at least fun, nonetheless. The other Chemistry set got to fire three cannon balls out of wooden tubes just outside the building, on top of a slope above the bottom common field and a few of us were down there, waiting for the cannon to set and catch the projectiles. The explosions were pretty loud especially the last one, where it blew up the tube to pieces and failed to set off the cannon ball. Unlucky, doc.
We’re having a barbecue party here later tonight at the house. We’ve also got a 5-a-side inter-house football tournament which I’m quite looking forward to. I’m not sure who’s on my team yet but I know that I can’t wait.
Half-term starts today, which also marks the start of my exam leave. I wanted to go down to London today but I guess I won’t make it tonight. Sorry guys. I’ve got quite a few things left to pack for London. I’m bringing a load just to reduce the amount of stuffs to carry later on when I leave school in the Summer.
I’m watching The Pirates of The Carribean 3 tomorrow with the gang. It’s gonna be great, two people are celebrating their birthdays this month and we’re celebrating it together tomorrow. It’s gonna be a fun weekend =) And I can’t hardly wait to see my dear and go mushy =p
So c ya tomorrow, guys!
p/s: yes my dear, i owe you two huge bars of chocolates and a Häagen Dazs ice cream =p see you tomorrow too, sweetie.
Awake
May 24, 2007
With every appearance by you blinding my eyes,
I can hardly remember the last time I felt like I do
You’re an angel disguised
And you’re lying real still
but your heart beat is fast just like mine
And the movie’s long over,
that’s three that have passed, one more’s fine
Will you stay awake for me?
I don’t wanna miss anything,
I will share the air I breathe,
I’ll give you my heart on a string
I just don’t wanna miss anything
I’m trying real hard not to shake,
I’m biting my tongue
But I’m feeling alive and with every breathe that I take,
I feel like I’ve won
You’re my key to survival
And if it’s a hero you want,
I can save you
Just stay here
Your whispers are priceless
Your breathe, it is dear,
so please stay near
Say my name, I just want to hear you.
Say my name, so I know it’s true
You’re changing me, you’re changing me,
you showed me how to live
So just say, so just say

To be honest, I kinda miss blogging for awhile now. It’s been more than a month since I hang the “HIATUS” label down my neck and I already feel like I’ve lost my touch. But as long as my senses are still intact, I think I’m good.
Well, anyways, the good news is that I’m back! And another good news? I bought a PSP and I’m loving it except for the part where I have to buy UMD to play any game =( I’m still a n00b at this but what I know is if I could downgrade my firmware version, currently stuck at 2.80, all the way down to 1.50, and with a sleight of hand, then I would be able to play games and ‘homebrew’ applications directly from the memory stick! Oh and by the way, I’ve got the 4GB Memory Stick Pro Duo by Sony and you’re gonna kill me for it =p I have three UMD games so far; Pro Evolution Soccer 6, Killzone Liberation and FIFA Soccer. Loving the first one on the list there.
Wait a minute, I’m not really into gaming but why did I buy the PSP in the first place? Well, I guess what my conscience tells me is that I need a portable device to watch movies and series and instead of buying a new video iPod, which would cost me a bit more but having its screen almost half the width of PSP’s. So why not, right? And it was an awesome deal anyway, which I would hate myself if I hadn’t bought it.
A lot of things have changed since last I blogged. Good things mostly =) Each year, my birthday has always been a mark for a start of something new, something different. And this year has brought me more colours into my life, more inspirations with a whole lot of meaning and purpose. Just like rainbows and butterflies =) In other words, life’s been pretty good here despite the uncanny spring weather. And today marks the third ![]()
